Yes. In your Account Settings click the big red button that says "Deactivate Account" to remove all of the data associated with your account. We do not hold your data, which means that if you later decide you want to come back, you'll need to create a new account.

We make money through affiliate partnerships with the best-in-class products & services that can directly help our users achieve their bucket list goals (e.g. travel planners, surf instructors, language learning apps, etc.) This allows us to keep BucketMatch free for everyone, because we believe money should not get in the way of people going after their goals. (I know, sometimes money truly does get in the way. But we're doing our best to create a world where it doesn't!)

In 2020, our Founder, Jeremy George, had been struggling with suicidal ideation despite having all the things - career, money, and lifestyle - that he thought were supposed to make him happy. Then he was laid off from his job. Desperate to find the will to keep living, he decided to spend the next year deliberately going after the goals he'd been neglecting on his bucket list in hopes that he would rediscover his enthusiasm for life. Calling it the "What A Year" project, Jeremy embarked on a mission to cross off 52 goals from his bucket list in 52 weeks.
